A quick dip into Bloomingdales yesterday revealed a collection from Michael Kors that was beyond irresistible! I have always enjoyed wearing Kors and have a few great items in my wardrobe, that over the years, have all held up beautifully. Michael Kors designs collections that women want in their closets - smartly sumptuous, affordable, lasting and stylish (not trendy - but stylish) clothing that celebrates a woman's femininity and sense of adventure. His collections clearly tells the story of the type of woman that he dresses. These images from his Spring 2012 collection have me yearning for a safari in Africa or in Brooklyn:). Kors has taken his position in classic American fashion alongside Ralph, Calvin and Donna - we can now add Kors to this list. The earthy tones, textures, patterns and effortless fit have inspired my wardrobe for Spring and items for the home. Although Kors has a linens line, a home collection seems like a natural fit. Ralph, Donna and Calvin all did it successfully - why not Kors?
